Our Name
GLORIA DEI is Latin for "Glory to God."
Our Mission
According to God's Word and Command:

Our Purpose
Motivated by Christ's love, we gather to nourish our faith through God's Word and Sacraments as we worship, study, and fellowship with one another. Then we scatter to share our Savior and His Love with those we meet.
Our Family Education
- Gloria Dei offers a 3-year old, a 4 & 5 year old, and Young 5's Preschool program during the school year. (more info)
- Sunday School, Teen Class & Adult Bible Class meet on Sundays at 10:45 A.M.
- Vacation Bible School is conducted one week during the summer months.
- Confirmation Class for seventh and eighth graders is held during the school year.
- Bible Information Course is offered to all who wish to learn more about the Christian faith, the Lutheran teachings, or who desire church membership. Classes are held throughout the year.

- All the children of Gloria Dei members recieve tuition assistance to attend the nearby Christian Day School, Good Shepherd, in Burton for grades 1-8.
- Other study groups, fellowship activities, and opportunities for Christian service are available as announced in the Sunday bulletin or the monthly newsletter.
